Alice Fevronia

Alice is a Geography teacher from London with a passion for baking, education and creativity. As a keen explorer, she loves to travel and spend the school holidays sampling different cultures and cuisines.

Following corrective spinal surgery for scoliosis when Alice was 15, quickly putting an end to Alice’s sporting dreams, instead it fuelled her love for art and baking as she spent hours in the kitchen instead of the running track!

Alice got through to the final 3 in the Great British Bake Off 2019 and really impressed Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith achieving Star Baker twice, including the semi final!

“Getting to the final of The Great British Bake Off was an amazing experience and something I’m incredibly proud of, especially as I was initially a ‘reserve’ and only found out the day before that I had a spot in the famous white tent. I juggled midnight practice sessions with exam paper marking, whilst keeping the whole thing a huge secret.”
